Fuel Savings and Emission Reduction

Quote : “Revolutionary product improving Sustainablity of the Shipping Industry”

What does SFS Hydrosystems offer?

We offer a system for the Shipping Industry that saves fuel and reduces emissions. Roughly the size of a mobile home airconditioner the system converts drinking water into a gas, called Oxyhydrogen. In small portions this gas is mixed with air and added to the fuel in the combusiton chamber of your engine. Thereby, your fuel burns more efficiently, your power increases and your engine is cleaned.

Emission Reduction &

1 – 1,5 Years Payback

The addition of the produced Oxyhydrogen gas not only leads to emission reduction of COx, CxHy, NOx and PM (soot) but also to min. 8-12% fuel savings = CO2). This allows for a financial payback of the system in only 12 -18 months, whereas the technical lifespan of the system is min. 10 years.

Easy Instalment

The 24V system is fully ‘plug and play’ and installed & connected on board in 5-6 hours. Access to drinking water, 220V power, Wifi and ventilation piping are the only simple pre-requisites to allow instalment.

Lloyds Register & CE Certified

The system is safety approved by Lloyds Register, IP 65 and holds the European Economic Area CE marking.

Wifi Connectable

Our SFS HYS system is connected to the Wifi system in your engine room. This allows for continuous 24 hours per day online monitoring of the system with alarms for malfunctioning and -if necessary- remote finetuning of the Oxyhydrogen production process. Combined with our engine monitoring system TEMS, which is a standard addition to our product offering, this also allows you to check your engine’s main functionalities. Not only fuel consumption is monitored, but also engine temperature, oil-, fuel-  and boost pressure etc. detecting source of engine failure.

Driven by Patented IP software

The secret of SFS HYS lies in a globally patented printed circuit board that takes care of the entire gas production procedure very precisely. As every engine is different and combustion optimization is also different at different engine RPMs, the initial installation of the system must be handled with the utmost care. Further finetuning later on is also a standard part of our total product offering.
